The great escape festival 2010 is a great warmer for the the biggies this summer.
The city location make for a slightly different festival feel. No sprawling around fields drinking cider and sucking on laughing gas balloons.
The bands are spread around 35 of Brighton’s top venues and a ticket gets you access to all of them. So the feeling of being there is very much like your usual outdoor festival, just instead of walking between fields and stages you cruise between pubs and clubs.
The obvious positive of all this is that you are free to go where you want, eat where you want and drink where you want. Plus you can go home to a cosy bed at the end of the evening.
